The April issue of Q, onsale 1 March, celebrates the glorious resurrection of one of Americašs most revered bands, R.E.M.
They have, of course, appeared in Q many times over the years guitarist Peter Buck even had a monthly column at one point - and hence our photo archive contains an embarrassment of R.E.M.-related riches.

R.E.M. In 1987, publicising Document, their fifth album. It would prove to be their commercial breakthrough, spawning the radio hits The One I Love and It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine).
